Roach Prep sheet

The amount of prep is based on your level of infestations

A) Please remove drawers and all items from your cupboards, including under kitchen and bathroom washbasins. All counters and floors must be clear. Place all items in a separate piece and cover with a thick blanket or rag. It is a standard precaution to avoid excessive contact with the property of residents. If this standard is not met, your pest management operator will not be able to spray in these areas. Roaches typically live in cracks, crevices, near wetlands, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. Therefore, all of these areas must be addressed by the pest management operator.

  1. B) If you have observed roaches, in other areas, such as bedrooms, closets, in the utility room or in any other areas, be sure to inform your Service Technician that cockroaches exist in these locations as well. If bedrooms, living room and dining room need to be treated please remove all belongings from desks, night stands, dressers, entertainment centers, etc. Any areas you want sprayed must have all items removed or IT WILL NOT BE SPRAYED. Keep everything away from the baseboard so your pest control operator can access these sprayable areas.
  2. C) Please remove any excess spilled feed (crumbs, etc.) from the cabinets with a sponge or cloth.
  3. D) It is very important that you do not wipe or wash the interior of your cabinets after processing; this will eliminate chemicals.
  4. E) After your treatment, you can expect the insecticide to produce a different behaviour in insects, which increases activity over 5-7 days.

Sanitation is the most important step to effectively and sustainably control German cockroaches. Food materials must be disposed of to the extent practicable and storage areas must be sealed to the extent practicable.
